Polarized lenses in a growing array of colours

Colour palette inspired by fashion and function

Polarized lenses in warm shades such as brown, bronze and copper offer the wearer good visual contrasts, making items appear brighter and sharper even in low light situations. Picture these lenses mounted in tortoiseshell, gold, bronze and other warm metal frames – or frames with brown leather embellishments and gold temple treatments.

Our polarized lenses at the cooler end of the palette – grey, green, smoke – allow for true colour recognition under even the brightest glare. Gun metal, silver and black frames will be enhanced beautifully by any of these lens shades.

Our green polarized lenses provide good all-purpose everyday protection from glare in average or bright conditions, giving clear contrasts. Teamed with the right frames, green lenses offer an eye-catching and edgy alternative and are particularly flattering for warm skin tones.

Copper 15
copper 15

Great for: Adjusting to fast-changing weather conditions. When cloud cover alternates with bright sunshine, these lenses offer continuous clear vision. A bronze lens limits the amount of light that enters the eye from the blue part of the spectrum. Light in this part of the spectrum causes the most discomfort. Contrasts are heightened and a high red factor means traffic and brake lights are easier to see.

Copper 16

Great for: Comfortable driving and general use. Copper lenses are the best at absorbing blue light. Blue light is the part of the spectrum where the eye has most difficulty focussing and experiences most discomfort. These lenses not only absorb blue light but also have a high red factor which makes them best for good traffic light and brake light recognition. Great for seeing contrasts between shapes and colours – any activity where visual acuity is required. A very popular choice for drivers and cyclists.

Brown 13

Great for: Comfort while driving and all-purpose, day-long wear. Showing excellent sharp contrasts even under harsh glare as sky and grass are muted. Dark brown lenses also absorb blue light extremely well making these lenses great for those concerned about the effects of blue light on the eye. These also offer fishermen and golfers sharp contrasts between shapes and colours in the water and on the fairway – or for any outdoor activity such as running and cycling.

Great for: Wearing during any outdoor activity, regardless of the conditions. The weather can be unpredictable, but these lenses will give day-long all-purpose wear. Practical and flexible, brown lenses absorb blue light, to show sharp contrasts even under harsh glare. For the sports enthusiast, these lenses are the perfect all-rounder. They provide golfers and fishermen sharp contrasts on the green and on the water, making vision accurate. Runners and cyclists will benefit from brown lenses when on the roads and track.

Yellow 26

Great for: Accurate colour contrasts and depth perception. Anglers and water sports enthusiasts can see objects underwater more clearly through a yellow lens. Yellow is also ideal for low light conditions in the morning and the evening. During overcast or hazy days, colour contrasts are heightened. And, for indoor sports, yellow makes vision sharper and more accurate. By filtering light in the blue spectrum, a yellow lens can decrease haze and make objects appear sharper.
